Princess Noir: The Chonk Evolution
Princess Noir started as a character of my ex-girlfriend’s cat, Noir. She had this specific, dramatic energy that reminded me of Princess Donut from Dungeon Crawler Carl. I wanted to capture that "Queen Anne Chonk" attitude and turn it into a physical asset.
I built this character using heavy line work and matte charcoal textures specifically for stickers. By giving her a thick cream die-cut border, I ensured she has a physical weight that standard digital illustrations miss. It’s a design that feels less like a mascot and more like a personality you’re lucky to have on your gear.

For a client, this is about the power of an emotional hook. People don’t just buy stickers; they buy into characters they recognize. Whether I'm building a custom character for a brand or a limited merch drop, the goal is to move past being a generic logo and become something people actually want to own.
